Busan International Architecture Design Workshop 2022 1. Workshop Title : Megacity: Gate Networking 2. Workshop Method : Online Workshop The BIADW 2022 is an online workshop, which starts at 20:00 on August 01, 2022 (Korean Standard Time, GMT+9) and ends at 22:00 (Korean Standard Time, GMT+9) on August 17, 2022. Two critical Sessions will be held, within the workshop. The goal of this workshop is to interpret the topic within a limited time and to present architectural alternatives to the target site. 3. ※The schedule for August 01, 2022(Mon.) will be held through Zoom Live. All participating teams will be requested to access through the Zoom URL given in advance. The Zoom URL will be distributed in July. ※The schedule for August 01, 2022(Mon.) will be posted on the website of the BAF and YouTube chanel. ※The submission(1 A0 Panel & Video) is used for exhibition. 4. Workshop Procedures Participants affiliated with the same school (university) must form a team (3 students only). The theme and references of the workshop are provided according to the schedule. The first critique to develop plans. - Selected tutors (two per team) critique the proposals uploaded to the website, and each team reads the critique results and opinions which will be also uploaded to the website. - After the critique, the first proposal is revised and the second proposal is submitted in the same way as the first. The second critique to develop plans. - Same as the 1st critique. Final submission and selection - The final submission should be done in one A0 size panel for exhibition as well as one video. Thepanelshouldbeinverticalformaton.JPEGor.PDF,andthevideomustbenolongerthan10minutes. -Thevideoistoexpresstheproposedscenarioandspatialprogramasvideocontent. - Image file: A0 size (vertical, .jpeg or .pdf file, 300dpi), video: 1080p (FHD) - Final submission to be made on the website and examined by the designated judges 5. Participation Registration Please fill out the application form on the Busan Architecture Festival website. (http://www.biacf.org/) After receiving the confirmation e-mail, please pay the registration fee (USD 100 for each team). Registration period for overseas participant : 00:00 June.3.2022 to 24:00 June 20. 2022 Registration period for Korean participant : 00:00 June.21.2022 to 24:00 July 5. 2022 6.
