An open platform for the presentation and communication of architectural culture of consilience aimed for the future

The new CI of BAF symbolizes the determination to build a future-oriented architectural culture of consilience that embraces conflicting concepts such as the East and the West, tradition and future, vestige and regeneration, and to provide an open field of communication for the realization of such a goal. In addition, the CI is intended as a visual symbol that can be open to infinite interpretations in reference to the eaves of traditional Korean architecture, the Chapel of Notre Dame du Haut in Ronchamp, and the contemporary architectural beauty as illustrated in the Guggenheim Museum and the big roof of Busan Cinema Center, etc.
