The Busan Architecture Festival Organizing Committee is a publicly-minded open organization that has been conducting many activities in which the city’s architectural professionals and the citizens interested have participated since 2001, to explore and practice the ways of developing the architecture and urbanism of Busan.
BAF has kept endeavoring to serve as a platform connecting professionals and citizens in active communication with the public through various projects like architectural exhibitions, international exchanges, architectural design competitions, architectural tours, lectures, and civic participations.

Architecture is a vessel that carries the culture and spirit of the times. It is not an overstatement to say that the quality of architecture is a measure to assess the city. We will keep endeavoring as always to create, and explore how to expand the base of, the attractive architectural culture becoming to Busan.
